This blog post summarises the one week that has elapsed writing code for Drupal as a part of my Google Summer of Code Project, client side file cryptography.
Selected projects and students from all organisations announced today!
I haven't yet blogged about GSoC or any other open source contributions here yet, so this is the first one now that the selected proposals for Google Summer of Code 2017 were announced today.
So what all have I done using AWS that I signed up for?
The possibilites of a VPS is infinite. We can practically do anything on a VPS!
Ever since I've Signed up with AWS, my nights have been sleepless, trying out to discover and try out newer things to do on it.
A little about how AWS works:
Last year, when I came to know from my senior in college that the project we were working together on was being hosted on a VPS, I immediately looked up what VPSes were and desperately wanted to get my hands on one of them, to dig deeper into VPSes.
Although i've been lately working with several OOP web apps with pretty vast code bases, this is a new challenge as i've mostly built using procedural approach. This one is broken into modules and OOP classes that are rendering HTML output and other proper PHP classes to handle hooks etc. Presently the github repo is a private repo, i'm looking to making it public sometime in the near future! :D
